Vitae
G. Michael Pollock
has been in the private practice of
law in California,
Washington, and Texas
for over 30 years, with an emphasis
on general business, corporate and real
estate matters, personal injury litigation,
discrimination and "qui tam"
claims.
Mr. Pollock served as General Counsel
for a major California corporation for
11 years, handling such diverse matters
as corporate formation and management,
labor, EEOC and employment-related problems,
establishing corporate policies and
procedures, coordinating banking and
financial affairs, defending and prosecuting
a variety of business related litigation.
He served in managerial capacity as
well, supervising such diverse matters
as pre-employment screening, hiring,
training and termination procedures
and policies with respect to over 1,700
employees. He also handled corporate
mergers and acquisitions, insurance
and "self-insurance" matters.
Finally, Mr. Pollock served as a Senior
Arbitrator for the Los Angeles Superior
Court for a number of years.
Mr. Pollock received his Bachelor of
Arts Degree from the University of California,
Los Angeles (UCLA) and Juris Doctorate
Degree from California Western University.
Mr. Pollock is a Member of the Washington
State Bar Association, the
California State Bar Association,
the Texas State Bar Association
and has been admitted to practice before:
- The United States
Supreme Court
- The United States
Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit
- The United States
District Court, Central District
of California and
- The United States
District Court, Western District
of Washington
Mr. Pollock is also a Member of the
American Bar Association (ABA)
and the Association of Trial
Lawyers of America (ATLA). |
